Shield Arms Magazine Extension Features The Shield Arms Magazine Extension is built specifically for Smith and Wesson M&P 2.0 9mm and .40 caliber magazines adding five rounds of additional capacity to the stock magazine body. Machined from aluminum and finished in a striking red anodizing the extension offers both a functional upgrade and a visual distinction that sets modified magazines apart at a glance on the range or at a match. The extension s floor plate uses a unique easy access design that lets the shooter reach the spring and follower directly for cleaning or inspection without needing to remove the extension itself from the magazine body. This simplifies maintenance considerably compared to extensions that require full disassembly to service the internals. Extending magazine capacity by five rounds can matter significantly in competitive shooting disciplines where fewer reloads translate directly into faster stage times. It also gives everyday range shooters more rounds between reloads reducing the interruption of swapping magazines during practice sessions. Because the extension is purpose built for the M&P 2.0 magazine body installation is straightforward and does not require any modification to the magazine itself. For M&P 2.0 owners looking to add capacity and a bit of personal style to their pistol setup this Shield Arms extension is available for sale at GrabAGun.
