Riton Optics Ring Set Hardened Steel Features The Riton Optics Ring Set Hardened Steel is machined from hardened steel rather than lighter aluminum giving the rings added resistance to the shock and vibration of repeated recoil. Sized to clamp a 30mm scope tube the rings hold a riflescope securely in place so zero is retained shot after shot in the field or at the range. An overall length of 5.8 inches positions the scope correctly over most rifle receivers without crowding the bolt handle or ejection port. The matte black finish matches common scope and rifle finishes for a clean factory-look installation. At 7 ounces and a shipping weight around 0.61 pounds the ring set adds minimal weight to a rifle while still providing the holding strength of steel construction. The hardened steel build is intended for shooters who want a mounting solution built to outlast the rifle it rides on whether for hunting long range shooting or duty use. Easy installation on a standard Picatinny or Weaver rail means the rings fit a wide range of rifle platforms without special tools. For shooters seeking a rugged 30mm ring set at a reasonable price the Riton Optics Ring Set Hardened Steel is a solid choice.
