RCBS 1776 Features The RCBS 1776 die set sizes bottleneck .223 Rem brass to SAAMI minimum cartridge dimensions using a Full Length Sizer Die that handles outside sizing de-priming and neck expansion in one pass. Vents in the die body relieve trapped air and excess lubricant so cases are not dented or damaged during sizing. Headspace is held to minimum tolerances which keeps case body length consistent through repeated full length sizing cycles. The included Seater Die has a built in roll crimper letting the reloader seat the bullet and crimp it in place in the same stroke for secure cartridge assembly. Every die set ships in the standard green RCBS plastic die box which is then packed inside a custom wooden presentation box bearing special 250th anniversary heritage graphics. That wooden box doubles as extra storage for bullets reloading tools or components once the plastic box is pulled out for bench use. Standard 7/8 inch-14 thread dies are machined in the USA from proprietary die steel to RCBS s exacting standards giving reloaders proven repeatable performance set after set.
