Outdoor Connection Swivel Stud Rail Extender Features The Outdoor Connection Swivel Stud Rail Extender solves a common problem for rifle owners whose stocks were never drilled for a forend rail. By clamping onto the existing sling swivel stud it creates an instant section of Picatinny rail without any gunsmithing or permanent alteration to the firearm. Machined from aluminum for strength without added bulk the extender keeps the rifle s balance and handling characteristics close to stock while opening up a world of rail-mounted accessories. At 2.25 inches long and just 1.6 ounces it is small enough to disappear under a handguard or forend when not in use. Everything needed for installation is included from the mounting hardware to the Allen wrench so the extender can be fitted in minutes at home or in the field. Its 1.25 inch width and 1 inch height are sized to accept standard Picatinny rail accessories like bipods foregrips and weapon lights. Because it reuses the factory swivel stud location no new holes or stock modifications are required which keeps the rifle s resale value and factory finish intact. This makes the rail extender a practical low-cost upgrade for hunters and sport shooters who want more mounting options on a traditional bolt-action or lever-action rifle.
