LanTac Ultimate Takedown Pin Set Features The LanTac Ultimate Takedown Pin Set is precision machined on Swiss style turning centers from 17-4PH stainless steel in the H900 condition giving it exceptional strength and corrosion resistance compared to standard mild steel factory pins. A patent-pending ramped groove design holds the detent in place during installation allowing the user to install and remove the AR-15 pivot pin without needing a separate tool. Each pin features aggressively crenulated heads that improve grip making it noticeably easier to pull the pin from the receiver during disassembly. The set ships complete with a 3D printed rear pin removal tool giving owners everything needed to service both pins without hunting down additional equipment. Beyond convenience the set includes a built-in QuickSafe feature that lets an owner render the rifle inoperable for security purposes. By removing the front pivot pin along with its spring and detent and reinserting it through the rear takedown pin hole from the opposite side then removing the rear takedown pin the pivot pin s detent registers against the groove on its end and locks the assembly so the upper cannot be mounted to the lower. Finished in a QPQ titanium nitride coating shown in gold the pins resist wear while adding a distinctive look to the rifle. Manufactured in the USA this pin set gives AR-15 owners both a functional upgrade and an added layer of built-in security.
