Geissele Automatics Ultra Duty Mag Release Features The Geissele Automatics Ultra Duty Mag Release is cut with a checkered texture across its exposed face giving the thumb a positive surface to find and press quickly even under stress or with gloved hands. That checkering is matched to the texture used on Geissele s Maritime Bolt Catch so a builder running both parts together gets a visually consistent coordinated set of controls on the lower receiver. This attention to matching textures reflects the kind of detail Geissele is known for across its AR-15 component lineup. The button is a direct fit for standard AR-15 lowers requiring no special tools beyond what any mag release swap already calls for. Finished in a matte black coating the Ultra Duty Mag Release resists wear from the repeated thumb contact a magazine release sees over the life of a rifle. Swapping to a textured release is a common upgrade for shooters who want faster more certain magazine changes during training or competition. Because the part is a drop-in replacement installation takes only a few minutes with basic punches. The Geissele Automatics Ultra Duty Mag Release is a small but meaningful control upgrade for sale at GrabAGun for any AR-15 build.
