Fab Defense AK/AKM/AKS/AKMS Stock Features The FAB Defense Stock is molded from polymer giving AK pattern rifle owners a lightweight alternative to the wood or stamped steel stocks that shipped on many original builds. Polymer construction resists moisture cracking and warping far better than wood which matters for rifles that see use in varied weather conditions. The stock is designed to fit the AK AKM AKS and AKMS family of rifles covering a wide range of common AK variants without requiring a specific sub-model match. Its black finish keeps the look consistent with most AK furniture upgrades and modern tactical builds. Swapping to a polymer stock like this one can also reduce overall rifle weight compared to a solid wood stock which helps with handling and maneuverability. The simple direct fitment to the AK platform means installation does not require extensive gunsmithing for most builds. A durable polymer stock also holds up better to the recoil impulse of repeated firing over the rifle s service life than aging factory wood furniture might. The FAB Defense Stock is available for sale at GrabAGun for AK owners looking to upgrade their rifle s durability and overall feel.
