FAB Defense Vanguard Rail System Features The FAB Defense Vanguard rail system is built to fit the Remington 870 giving owners of this widely used pump shotgun a way to add modern accessories to a platform that traditionally offers limited mounting options. Measuring 12.20 inches in length the rail provides ample space to position a light laser or other accessory exactly where the shooter wants it along the forend. Its 3.8 inch width and 2.60 inch height are proportioned to integrate cleanly with the shotgun s existing forend profile without creating an overly bulky setup. At only 0.48 pounds the Vanguard rail adds minimal weight to the shotgun which matters for a defensive or hunting shotgun where fast handling is important. The rail s construction is intended to hold up to the recoil generated by repeated 12 gauge firing cycles without loosening or shifting out of position. For Remington 870 owners looking to modernize their shotgun with mounted accessories this FAB Defense rail system offers a straightforward way to add that capability. Its compact dimensions and light weight make it a practical upgrade for a duty home defense or hunting focused 870 build.
