Cobalt Kinetics CK-Pro Receiver Set Features The Cobalt Kinetics CK-Pro Receiver Set is built around a proprietary non-rotating upper receiver system secured to the handguard with 8 TORX screws for a mount that resists loosening under recoil and heavy handling. That rigid interface helps maintain zero on mounted optics and accessories across repeated range sessions which matters most to shooters running heavier glass or offset sights. Machined from aluminum and finished with a hardcoat anodized coating the receiver set is built to withstand the wear that comes with frequent use in training or competition environments. The hardcoat anodizing also resists corrosion and surface wear keeping the black finish looking factory fresh well after a season of hard use. The M-LOK handguard included in the set provides ample real estate for lights grips bipods and other accessories without adding unnecessary bulk to the overall build. At 2.4 lbs the receiver set keeps the rifle platform reasonably light while still delivering the robust construction Cobalt Kinetics is known for in its complete rifle builds. The Multi caliber compatibility of the platform gives builders flexibility when choosing a barrel and bolt carrier group to complete the rifle letting the same receiver set serve as the foundation for more than one chambering down the line. Each set includes the upper lower and handguard together simplifying the parts list for anyone assembling a rifle from the receiver level up and removing the guesswork of matching separately sourced components. The non-rotating upper design and TORX-secured handguard also make future servicing and accessory swaps straightforward since the mounting interface stays consistent and solid every time it is removed and reinstalled.
