Christensen Arms Side-Baffle Features The Christensen Arms Side-Baffle muzzle brake is machined from titanium giving it a strong strength to weight ratio that keeps the muzzle end of a rifle light without sacrificing durability. Designed specifically to fit a .920 inch bull barrel diameter it is purpose built for the heavier barrel contours common on precision and long range .30 caliber rifles. Four large side ports direct propellant gas outward and to the sides effectively reducing felt recoil during firing. This recoil reduction helps shooters stay on target and recover faster for follow up shots. In addition to the side ports four threaded top ports are built into the design to help manage and reduce muzzle rise during firing. The Side-Baffle threads onto a 5/8x24 pattern a common thread specification for .30 caliber rifles and it ships with a crush washer for a secure properly timed installation. Finished in a Natural Titanium color it adds a distinctive look while keeping weight to a minimum at the muzzle. This combination of recoil reduction and muzzle control makes it a strong choice for shooters looking to improve their rifle s shooting comfort and follow up speed.
