Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph Features The Caldwell Ballistic Precision Chronograph uses a high speed 48 MHz processor paired with an advanced data interface circuit that is computer calibrated at the factory after assembly. This process gives the unit accuracy to within 0.25 percent a noticeable step up from ordinary chronographs on the market. Velocity reads out in feet per second or meters per second on a large built in LCD screen measuring anywhere from 5 to 9 999 FPS. Extra wide sunshades made of durable synthetic material shade the sensors for reliable readings even in bright direct sunlight. Bluetooth connectivity sends shot string data up to 15 feet to a paired smartphone or mobile device and a free downloadable app displays each shot s velocity in real time. The app automatically calculates average velocity standard deviation minimum maximum and velocity spread for the entire shot string then stores that data for later recall or export by email. A -20 threaded insert on the bottom of the housing allows the chronograph to be mounted on a standard tripod for a stable repeatable setup. Built from durable polymer and powered by a single 9 volt battery this chronograph suits firearms archery airgun and paintball shooters who want reliable shareable velocity data at the range.
