Bore Tech Black Powder Solvent Features The Bore Tech Black Powder Solvent is a surfactant based formula engineered specifically for the unique fouling that modern muzzleloaders and inline black powder rifles produce. Unlike general purpose bore cleaners this solvent is built to simultaneously break down heavy layers of powder residue melted plastic sabot material bullet lube and corrosive salts left behind after firing. Leaving corrosive salts in a bore can lead to pitting and rust so a dedicated cleaner that targets them directly helps protect the rifle s finish and accuracy over time. The formula also protects against rust once the bore has been cleaned adding a layer of corrosion resistance between shooting sessions. Packaged in a 16 oz squeeze bottle the solvent is easy to dispense directly onto patches brushes or into the bore without needing a separate applicator. It is formulated to be ammonia free and non-flammable making it safer to store and use than many traditional solvents while also being biodegradable for easier disposal. This combination of effective cleaning power and safer handling makes it a practical choice for shooters who clean their black powder rifles regularly. Anyone running an inline or traditional muzzleloader benefits from having a solvent built specifically for the fouling their rifle produces.
