Armaspec AR-15 SRS Buffer Kit Gen 4 Features The Armaspec SRS Buffer Kit Gen 4 centers around the Stealth Recoil Spring a self-contained multi-stage system designed to replace the standard AR-15 buffer and spring in a simple drop-in installation. The SRS is engineered to keep the buffer spring from contacting the inner wall of the buffer tube which produces smoother and quieter cycling compared to a standard setup. A second stage within the spring system helps significantly reduce felt recoil improving control during rapid strings of fire. The SRS-H designation indicates the heavy buffer weight option which keeps the buffer mass under constant tension against the bolt carrier for consistent function. The kit includes a mil-spec 7075-T6 six position buffer tube along with a steel castle nut and end plate giving builders everything needed to complete a stock assembly installation. At a complete buffer weight of 6.6 ounces with an equivalent weight of 3.8 ounces the SRS-H is tuned for AR-15 pattern rifles running typical carbine-length gas systems. Finished in a matte black that matches most AR-15 builds the kit integrates cleanly with a wide range of stock and handguard combinations. Made in the USA the Armaspec SRS Buffer Kit Gen 4 gives AR-15 owners a complete recoil-reducing buffer system upgrade.
