GSG GERMAN SPORTS GUNS 1911 - .22 LR HV, 2 MAGAZINES - 10 ROUNDS, SAO, 5" BARREL, THUMB AND PALM SAFETIES, IN VERY GOOD CONDITION. ******NO ILLINOIS SALE****** The GSG 1911 is a highly popular, budget-friendly .22 LR caliber semi-automatic pistol manufactured by German Sport Guns. Designed to look, feel, and weigh almost exactly like a standard centerfire Mil-Spec M1911, it is primarily used for affordable training, plinking, and target shooting. Key Design Features * True 1911 Ergonomics: It retains 80% of standard 1911 parts compatibility, meaning you can easily swap out the grips, mainspring housing, thumb safeties, and triggers with aftermarket parts. * Zinc Alloy Construction: To keep the price low while maintaining the heavy, realistic weight of a .45 ACP pistol, the frame and slide are constructed from a robust zinc alloy rather than milled steel. * Magazine Disconnect: The pistol will not fire if the magazine is removed, a safety feature common to many training rimfires. Reviews * High Cost-to-Fun Ratio: It offers the visual appeal and muscle memory of a real 1911 at a fraction of the ammunition cost. * Excellent Weight & Balance: Unlike ultra-lightweight polymer .22s, the GSG 1911 feels substantial in the hand, which helps mimic the handling of a larger caliber. * Great Trigger: For an entry-level rimfire, the single-action trigger is surprisingly crisp with a clean break. * Customization: Gun enthusiasts love that they can modify it using standard 1911 accessories to match their primary defensive or competition pistols. **SPECIFICATIONS** Manufacturer: GSG Model: 1911 Caliber: .22 LR HV Magazines: 2 MAGS - 10 RDS Sights: WHITE 3-DOT Weight: 34.4 OZ Overall Length: 8.5" Barrel Length: 5" SERIAL NUMBER: A839523 SKU NUMBER: DJ1042397
