The Aero Precision M4E1 Pistol (most commonly configured as a Short Barreled Rifle alternative or an "AR pistol" using a stabilizing brace) represents a major turning point in how custom AR-15s are built. Released in its foundational form around 2017, the M4E1 platform moved Aero Precision away from standard mil-spec clones and into the world of stylized, enhanced billet-matching aesthetics at an accessible price point.
