For added safety in the backcountry that doesn't weigh us down or throw off our balance, we zip into the Db Snow Safeback Module. Multiple pockets stash the essentials close to our body for a streamlined fit, while the windproof front panel gives us an added defense against icy crosswinds. If the mountain buries us, we pull the trigger handle to activate the SBX Safeback system, which pumps fresh oxygen through the shoulder straps' mesh panels for 90 extra minutes of air without needing a mouthpiece.
