evo.com | Salomon Snowboards > The Salomon Overcast Snowboard, once a Japan-exclusive, is finally here to bring its precision and powder prowess to the rest of us. This unisex, tapered directional ripper blends the best of the Sight and Bliss, but with 20% more stiffness and a fast sintered base to charge harder and float deeper. Built with an Aspen Strong core and dialed to thrive everywhere from groomers to light, dreamy pow, the Overcast is ready to show you what it's learned on the legendary slopes of Japan! Aspen Strong Core CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush. Biaxial Low Density Fiberglass Low-density fibers allow for lighter boards that keep their playful forgiving flex forever. Tapered Directional Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack. Flex Rating 4.5 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff) Royal Cork Pads Cork pads are strategically placed into the sidewall to provide eco-friendly dampening. Lightweight, asymmetrical, and easy flexing. When these three traits are combined, it makes for the smoothest, easiest riding binding you'll find. The asymmetrical design of both the highbacks and the baseplates allows the Salomon Rhythm Snowboard Bindings to provide power and precision on the outsides as well as forgiving maneuverability on the insides. The result is one of the best progression minded bindings on the market. Rhythm Highback Asymmetrical shape to increase the support on the outside and tweakability on the inside while keeping a perfect anatomical shape to prevent any pressure point. This highback is made for a smooth ride and allows riders to be comfortable while improving their riding skills. Rhythm Baseplate Lightweight, durable, and asymmetrical to increase support on the outside and flex on the inside, preventing pressure points and allowing for easy progression. Canted Footbeds Instantly add pop power and extra edge control to your riding with 2.5deg canted footbeds. Easy on the knees and no loss of board-feel. Supreme Lite Ankle Strap Ultra lightweight and durable. MP Ratchets Highest performing and quality ratchet found on all Shadow Fit bindings. Better tightening, less ladder damage, more power and precision with each click. | Salomon Overcast Snowboard 2027 - 147 Package (147 cm) + M Mens Size 147/M
