evo.com | Salomon Skis > Playful in the bumps and planted on the groomers, the Salomon QST 92 Skis are built for riders who refuse to pick just one kind of day. A full poplar woodcore paired with a titanal underfoot insert and Salomon's carbon-flax C/FX backbone delivers stability without turning the ski into a plank, while a rockered tip and tail float through chop and camber underfoot keeps the edges locked on hardpack. With a 92mm waist, it's the quiver-killer for intermediates who wants one ski for powder mornings and firm afternoons alike. Sintered Base We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Full Poplar Woodcore A woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound. Maximizes ski-to-snow contact and filters vibrations. Freeride Rocker Profile 18% Tip Rocker / Camber / 12% Tail Rocker Full Sandwich Sidewalls Be kind to your knees and they will be kind to you. The Look SPX 12 GW Pro Ski Bindings are a great place to start, offering 27 mm of vertical elasticity in the heel and 45 mm of lateral elasticity in the toe for superior shock absorption and rentention, keeping you attached to your ski right up until the moment you don't want to be. Hear that? That's your knees breathing a sigh of relief. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Long Elasticity Longer elastic travel ensures more reliable retention to keep you in when you need. LOOK bindings offer the most elastic travel (lateral and vertical) and the fastest re-centering prior to release, ensuring superior shock absorption to reduce unwanted pre-release. SPX Heel Piece LOOK's SPX heel design offers 27mm of elastic travel for best-in-class shock absorption, confident retention, and a significant reduction in unwanted prerelease. An oversize heel pivot increases coupling strength (boot-binding interface) for more efficient power transmission. Full Action Toe | 45 mm Elasticity Featuring 45mm of elastic travel and 180deg multi-directional release, the Full Action toe piece delivers best-in-class retention and release and increased coupling strength (boot-to-binding interface) for maximum power transmission.
