evo.com | Fischer Skis > Like a Toyota 4Runner, the Fischer Ranger 96 Skis are built to go anywhere and everywhere no matter the conditions. Leveraging a unique construction consisting of a lightweight and responsive beech/poplar woodcore, Shaped Ti Titanal underfoot, and a Freeski Rocker profile, the Ranger 96 strikes the coveted balance of hard charging stability and effortless maneuverability. Available in two different colorways to match your style, the Ranger 96 is the versatile daily driver every skier needs in their quiver. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Beech / Poplar Wood Core The Beech / Poplar wood core provides optimal stability and power transfer to the edges. Sintered Bases Sintered bases have exceptional waxing properties and a very long service life. Shaped Ti 0.5 Matching the thickness and shape of this high strength alloy to the performance and geometry of a ski allows optimal grip and stability with a smoother ride. Flex-Cut The Flex-Cut at the binding area optimizes the flex of the ski The Salomon Strive 14 GW Ski Bindings are an all-new lightweight resort ripper for responsive freeriding. The design of the LDN toepiece puts you close to the snow for maximum contact and response, enhancing power transmission for a smooth on-snow feel. The superlight design is reinforced with metal in key areas, and 45mm of elastic travel means they can handle rough riding without letting you down. The low profile Strive 14 bindings set a new standard in all-mountain performance. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. LDN Toe Low. Direct. Neutral. These are the deign characteristics of the revolutionary new LDN Toepiece. A lower center of gravity places the binding closer to the ski for better next-to-snow feel and the wide base delivers more direct response and reaction throughout the turn. The flatter, neutral stance puts the skier in a more balanced position by preserving the natural flex and arc of the ski. Locking Brakes The brakes feature a smartly designed clip-in system that locks the skis together as you throw them over your shoulder, making long hauls easy! Automatic Toe Adaptation The toe adapts automatically to your alpine normed boot height and ensures constant release values, even on worn out boots.
