Patriot Ordnance Factory LMR Base Features The Patriot Ordnance Factory LMR Base runs a gas operating system through a 16.5 416R stainless steel barrel giving the rifle both corrosion resistance and the accuracy potential .308 Win shooters expect from quality stainless construction. The 5/8x24 threaded muzzle accepts the included A2 flash hider or an aftermarket suppressor or brake and the six-groove barrel is cut to Patriot Ordnance Factory s exacting standards. The Mil-Spec charging handle and trigger keep the rifle affordable while retaining Patriot Ordnance Factory s proprietary technology and patented features found throughout the BASE product line. This gas system and barrel combination is built to deliver reliable performance without the premium price of Patriot Ordnance Factory s higher-end rifles. The receiver set is Black Anodized for durability and features a 15 M-LOK handguard with a MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny rail at the 12 o clock position plus additional M-LOK mounting interfaces at the 3 6 and 9 o clock positions for lights bipods or other accessories. The Pinned MFT Minimalist stock and black polymer grip keep the rifle compliant with California s fixed-magazine and featureless rifle regulations. At just 6.3 pounds the LMR Base is genuinely lightweight for a .308 platform making it easier to carry and maneuver than many heavier gas guns in this caliber. This rifle is available for sale at GrabAGun for California shooters who want a compliant lightweight .308 Win semi-automatic rifle that can be upgraded over time.
