Great Lakes Firearms AR15 Features The Great Lakes Firearms AR15 is built around billet upper and lower receivers chambered in .223 Wylde a chambering that safely and accurately handles both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition for maximum versatility. The stainless steel barrel carries a 1:8 twist rate well suited to a wide range of common .223/5.56 bullet weights for consistent accuracy. Mil-spec controls keep the manual of arms familiar for shooters coming from other AR platforms while the pistol grip and 6-position collapsible stock allow shooters to adjust length of pull to their preference. For shooters who want the flexibility to run both .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO ammunition the AR15 s Wylde chamber handles either without compromise. The 15 inch M-LOK aluminum handguard provides ample real estate for mounting lights lasers and other accessories without needing separate rail sections. Finished in black Cerakote the rifle offers a durable wear-resistant exterior suited to regular range use. At 36.5 inches overall and 8.05 lbs the rifle balances a full-length sight radius with manageable weight for extended range sessions. Made in the USA and shipping with one 30-round Magpul PMAG the Great Lakes Firearms AR15 gives shooters a complete ready-to-shoot rifle straight out of the box.
