Bushnell R5 Riflescope Features The Bushnell R5 offers 3-9x magnification through a 50mm objective lens providing a versatile zoom range suited to everything from close cover hunting to longer open field shots. Its second focal plane design keeps the reticle a consistent visible size throughout the zoom range making fast target acquisition easier at lower magnifications. The illuminated Multi-X reticle includes a floating center dot that stands out clearly against dark backgrounds or low light conditions common during dawn and dusk hunts. Quarter MOA adjustments provide precise repeatable windage and elevation corrections for dialing in an accurate zero letting hunters confidently hold on target at whatever range the shot presents itself. Fully multi coated glass improves light transmission for a brighter clearer sight picture during the low light hours when game is most active pulling in usable detail well before and after peak daylight. The EXO Barrier applied to exterior lenses repels water oil dust and debris keeping the glass clean and clear through demanding field conditions so a sudden rain shower or muddy blind never costs a shot. Built on a rugged 1 inch tube the R5 is both waterproof and fog proof standing up reliably to harsh weather temperature swings and rough handling in the field. At just under 22 ounces this scope strikes a practical balance of features and weight for hunters who need dependable performance without unnecessary bulk whether mounted on a lightweight bolt gun for a mountain hunt or a heavier rig used from a stand.
