evo.com | Salomon Snowboards > The Salomon Overcast Snowboard, once a Japan-exclusive, is finally here to bring its precision and powder prowess to the rest of us. This unisex, tapered directional ripper blends the best of the Sight and Bliss, but with 20% more stiffness and a fast sintered base to charge harder and float deeper. Built with an Aspen Strong core and dialed to thrive everywhere from groomers to light, dreamy pow, the Overcast is ready to show you what it's learned on the legendary slopes of Japan! 2 x 4 Insert Pattern Biaxial Low Density Fiberglass Low-density fibers allow for lighter boards that keep their playful forgiving flex forever. Aspen Strong Core CNC-selected high-density wood strips for the inserts and rail zones results in improved impact resistance and a predictable flex from opening day to spring slush. Flex Rating 4.5 (1 Soft - 5 Stiff) Tapered Directional Tail width is slightly tapered (2-20mm). This loosens up turning initiation and improves floatation in deeper snow without sacrificing edge hold on hardpack. The Nidecker OG Supermatic Snowboard Bindings are the world's first universal automatic bindings-just kick, click, and go. Step in through the back, press down the heel pedal, and you're instantly locked in with zero fuss, even in deep pow or on steep slopes. With a ride feel just like a classic two-strap setup and the option to use the ratchets manually, the Supermatic delivers fast entry without compromising performance. LSR 2.0 Auto-Lock Nidecker's next-gen LSR 2.0 automatically locks in both directions as soon as you stop cranking. Quickly set your preferred strap tension for speed entry or make rapid adjustments on the fly. BankBeds Footbeds with a 2.5deg canted contact surface for optimal ankle and knee alignment and efficient energy transmission. Nylon + Ultraback Designed exclusively for Nidecker's game-changing OG Supermatic(R), the Nylon+ Ultraback provides solid support with just enough flex to style things out. An integrated forward lean adjuster allows full customization. 30% Glass Fiber / 70% Nylon Flex Rating 6 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff) Exo-Frame Hybrid The Exo-Frame Hybrid pairs a lightweight AuxTech(R) frame with robust ExoSpines for even pressure distribution.
