evo.com | Salomon Skis > Playful in the bumps and planted on the groomers, the Salomon QST 92 Skis are built for riders who refuse to pick just one kind of day. A full poplar woodcore paired with a titanal underfoot insert and Salomon's carbon-flax C/FX backbone delivers stability without turning the ski into a plank, while a rockered tip and tail float through chop and camber underfoot keeps the edges locked on hardpack. With a 92mm waist, it's the quiver-killer for intermediates who wants one ski for powder mornings and firm afternoons alike. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Sintered Base Full Poplar Woodcore A woodcore from tip to tail offers optimum stability on snow and powerful rebound. Maximizes ski-to-snow contact and filters vibrations. Ti Binding Reinforcement A titanal insert edge-to-edge underfoot, running throughout the ski, for maximal power and increased hard snow edging. Freeride Rocker Profile 18% Tip Rocker / Camber / 12% Tail Rocker Freeride enthusiasts looking to drive wider skis without fear of pre-release have long looked to the Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings for their fantastic performance and reliability. They return with a re-worked Inter Pivot 3 heelpiece that significantly improves step in performance, thus eliminating the one qualm that some users had. Meanwhile, the redesigned Triple Pivot Elite 3 toe comes equipped with a new metal rail to scratch off ice and snow below your boot sole. And with Sole.ID technology to accommodate almost every boot sole norm, the Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings have you covered each and every time you click in. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. AFD Gliding Plate All Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring. Triple Pivot Elite 3 Toe Toe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5deg it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. Inter Pivot 3 Heel The newest generation Inter Pivot heel offers improved step-in performance, with a magnesium heel bracket for power transmission and energy absorption.
