evo.com | Rossignol Skis > The Rossignol Sender Free 100 Skis combine all mountain power with playful finesse, letting you transition from high-speed carves to laid-back smears without missing a beat. This 100mm-waisted charger brings the mountain to life with a twin rocker profile, progressive sidecut, and a lively wood core offering quick response and endless pop, aka the perfect ski for freeriders getting creative with all mountain terrain while they await the next storm. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. Progressive Sidecut The progressive sidecut profile delivers confident grip while unleashing more playfulness and fluidity to drift, smear, and carve through any terrain or snow conditions. The rounder tip and tail profiles offer instant engagement while releases turns with ease for playful manipulation of changing snow and terrain. Rectangular Full Sidewall A horizontal layering of core materials (wood, fiberglass, metal, etc.) combined with full-length vertical sidewalls to deliver optimized edge grip, precision, balance, and power. Air Tip Reduces weight at the tip and concentrates ski mass underfoot for effortless maneuverability, natural floatation and playful control. Poplar PEFC(TM) Wood Core A very versatile construction designed to ensure liveliness, grip and a feeling of safety. The Poplar wood cores are PEFC(TM) certified which guarantees sustainable forest management. Freeride enthusiasts looking to drive wider skis without fear of pre-release have long looked to the Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings for their fantastic performance and reliability. They return with a re-worked Inter Pivot 3 heelpiece that significantly improves step in performance, thus eliminating the one qualm that some users had. Meanwhile, the redesigned Triple Pivot Elite 3 toe comes equipped with a new metal rail to scratch off ice and snow below your boot sole. And with Sole.ID technology to accommodate almost every boot sole norm, the Marker Griffon 13 ID Ski Bindings have you covered each and every time you click in. We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width. AFD Gliding Plate All Marker bindings (except the Jester Pro) are equipped with a moveable AFD (Anti Friction Device), allowing a precise release unhindered by dirt, snow, and ice buildup. The type of AFD is matched to the skier type, ensuring perfect functionality from racing to junior and even alpine touring. Triple Pivot Elite 3 Toe Toe construction with impressive retention when freeriding. The spring in the toe is inserted horizontally and with a sole plate inclined by 5deg it provides the highest energy absorption so as to reduce the risk of early release. The large supporting surface optimizes the power transmission and allows for great stresses and strains. Inter Pivot 3 Heel The newest generation Inter Pivot heel offers improved step-in performance, with a magnesium heel bracket for power transmission and energy absorption.
