Product Description The Lancer Systems L5AWM GEN 2 magazine in Flat Dark Earth (FDE) is a premium 10-round, 30-round body-style magazine engineered for .223 Remington and 5.56 NATO AR-platform rifles. Built with a steel and polymer hybrid construction, the GEN 2 body is molded from Lancer&';s proprietary polymers and features their signature aggressive surface texturing, providing a secure grip even during active engagements or in humid field conditions. The newly engineered GEN 2 feed lips are constructed to handle heavy, sustained fire, extreme temperature swings, and extended storage without wearing, bending, cracking, deforming, or splitting - making this magazine an ideal choice for military, law enforcement, and competitive shooting applications. The matte finish offers a low-profile, tactical appearance while maintaining durability in demanding environments. Product Highlights Steel/Polymer Hybrid Construction: Combines the strength of hardened steel feed lips with a lightweight, impact-resistant polymer body for long-lasting reliability. GEN 2 Feed Lip Geometry: Redesigned hardened steel feed lips resist deformation under heavy fire, extreme temperatures, and prolonged storage. Aggressive Surface Texturing: Proprietary molded texture ensures a positive grip in wet, muddy, or high-stress conditions. Advanced Floorplate Lock Design: Secure locking mechanism prevents accidental disassembly during use. Compliance-Friendly Capacity: Offered in a 10-round capacity housed in a standard 30-round body profile, ideal for jurisdictions with magazine capacity restrictions.
