The slide is engraved PX-5.7 and the frame is marked TISAS, Knoxville, TN, with 5.7 X 28mm stamped on the barrel. Black carbon steel slide over a black polymer frame with a 4.8 inch barrel. This is the affordable way into 5.7x28mm. The round is very fast and very flat shooting with almost no recoil for the power it makes, and it feeds from a 20 round magazine, but a Five-seveN or a Ruger-57 will cost you a good deal more to get there. The Tisas runs a delayed blowback action rather than the straight blowback the cheaper 5.7 pistols use, which is a large part of why it shoots as softly as it does. Set up sensibly out of the box. The slide is optics ready with the cover plate fitted, so a dot goes straight on. Up front is a bright green fiber optic sight paired with an adjustable, serrated rear. Front and rear slide serrations plus lightening cuts, a Picatinny rail under the dust cover for a light or laser, a beavertail at the rear of the frame, and aggressive stippled texture through the grip and both index panels. Condition is excellent. The finish is clean with only very light handling marks, the sights and controls are all crisp, and the factory red chamber flag is still fitted.
