The Southport address puts this in the older marking era rather than current production. This is the classic Ruger cowboy gun built the way people who actually shoot them want it. Six shot fluted cylinder, loading gate on the right, wide serrated hammer spur, and a fully adjustable target rear sight paired with a ramp front carrying a bright orange insert, which is a genuinely fast sight picture against dark game or a steel plate. The long barrel gives you every bit of velocity the cartridge has and a sight radius that makes it shoot far better than a revolver has any right to. It wears ivory style grip panels rather than the factory panels, which suits the gun and is the look most people put on these anyway. Condition is good and honest used. The bluing on the barrel and cylinder is deep and still glossy with no rust anywhere, showing fine surface marks and a little thinning at the sharp edges. The frame is slightly more matte with light handling wear around the cylinder pin and hammer. The action parts are clean, the sights are undamaged and the orange front insert is intact.
