The SRAM Maven caliper assembly runs four pistons, larger than SRAM's standard brake calipers, to generate the extra stopping force Maven brakes are built around. Four bolts hold the two caliper halves together, twice the usual count, keeping the caliper from flexing when that force gets pushed through it hard. This assembled unit fits Maven Bronze, Silver, and Ultimate builds, and comes without a hose.
