What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying: "These are the shorts I grab for everything from trail runs to gym sessions. The merino-TENCEL(TM) liner keeps things cool and dry no matter how hard I'm moving, and the outer fabric stretches easily without sticking. I love that they're lightweight but still have a zip pocket and reflective hits-super functional for early morning workouts." We move with ease and confidence in the Smartwool Active Lined 4in Short. Crafted with a lightweight, recycled stretch-woven shell and a merino-TENCEL(TM) liner, these shorts keep us cool, dry, and comfortable through every stride, squat, and summit. The natural performance fibers wick moisture, resist odor, and regulate temperature-perfect for hot trail days or fast-paced gym sessions. A mid-rise waist and adjustable drawcord offer a secure, personalized fit, while side vents open up our range of motion for running or climbing. The zippered pocket keeps keys or gels secure, and reflective elements make dawn and dusk training runs feel a little safer. Designed for performance yet comfortable enough for rest days, these shorts are a true multitasker for active adventures.
