Their aluminum construction is strong and relatively lightweight, while the 3-section construction means they collapse to a short length when you need to stash them away. They come with a set of both winter and summer baskets, so you can use them snowshoeing or mountaineering, but they'll work well for ski tours, too. The extended EVA foam grip offers all day comfort however you decide to use them.
