What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"The Retro Skier Hoodie is the one I grab when I'm not sure what the day has in store. The cotton and recycled fleece blend is genuinely soft right out of the bag, and the double-layer hood makes a real difference on cool mornings at the trailhead or hanging around camp. It's the kind of sweatshirt that never makes it back into the drawer."There are layers you plan around and layers you just always have. The Marmot Retro Skier Hoodie is the second kind. It goes on for the dog walk before sunrise, stays on through the coffee and the campfire, and has a way of still being on your back when the sleeping bag gets zipped up at the end of the night. The retro ski graphic gives it a personality that feels earned rather than forced. The midweight fleece blend of cotton and recycled polyester sits in that perfect zone between warm enough to matter and light enough to forget you're wearing it. Rib-knit cuffs and hem keep drafts where they belong, the kangaroo pocket swallows a phone and a snack without complaint, and the double-layer hood adds just enough structure to feel substantial. It's not technical. It's not trying to be. It just makes every low-key moment a little more comfortable.
