What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I've been wearing the Dark Start Hoodie as my go-to midlayer for tours and it's perfect-warm enough to take the edge off those frosty dawn approaches, but not so bulky that it slows me down. I love that the recycled insulation still breathes on the climb and keeps its loft after being stuffed into my pack a dozen times."When we set out for early starts in the alpine, the Jones Snowboards Dark Start Recycled Insulated Hoodie is the piece we reach for without hesitation. With a recycled polyester shell and synthetic Air Flake insulation, this hoodie offers reliable warmth while treading lightly on the planet. The lightweight design makes it a natural fit for layering, whether we're pushing up a skintrack, belaying a partner on a cold pitch, or hunkering down at camp. Function-driven details make the Dark Start Hoodie a daily driver in the mountains. An elastic hood and tall collar shield us from biting wind, while the adjustable hem and elastic cuffs lock in warmth. Zippered chest and hand pockets keep small essentials close, and the generous internal drop pockets stash gloves, skins, or snacks. Durable, packable, and built for mountain missions, it's a layer that's always ready for what's next.
