What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"I wore the Dakine No Zone Sun Hat on a kayak fishing trip where the wind was working against me all day and the adjustable chin strap kept it on my head through some genuinely sketchy gusts that took my buddy's hat clean off. It ended up in the water once anyway when I leaned too far over the side, floated right back up, and was dry again within about twenty minutes."Some hats belong on the trail and some belong on the water, and the Dakine No Zone Sun Hat was built for the latter. Foam inserts keep it floating if it goes overboard, the adjustable chin strap keeps it on your head in the first place, and front and rear inserts maintain the brim shape when the wind picks up. Whether you are out on a kayak, a paddleboard, or a boat deck, this is the hat that handles the conditions without requiring a rescue operation. The 360-degree brim and UPF 50+ rated fabric cover you from every angle when the sun is overhead and reflecting off the water from below. Mesh ventilation panels keep airflow moving so the hat stays comfortable through a long day of paddling or fishing, and the quick-dry synthetic construction means a dunking is a minor inconvenience rather than a ruined piece of kit. The No Zone is the kind of sun hat you stop thinking about after the first five minutes, which is exactly the point.
