What Our Gearhead(R) Experts Are Saying:"If you like to spread out or roll around at night, the XL Flexcore is the way to go. That extra 30-inch width makes a huge difference in comfort compared to standard pads, and it still packs down well for the size. It's perfect for campers who don't want to feel confined on a narrow pad."For campers who like a little more room to stretch out, the ALPS Mountaineering Flexcore XL Sleeping Pad delivers the comfort of home in a trail-ready package. Its self-inflating hexagon-cored foam keeps weight manageable while offering a cushioned, supportive surface that feels stable all night long. The XL's 30-inch width provides generous space compared to standard pads, making it ideal for side sleepers or anyone who wants that extra wiggle room. A polyester ripstop top ensures durability, while a polyester taffeta bottom withstands repeated ground contact. With an R-Value of 2. 9, the Flexcore XL is a reliable three-season choice. Dual brass valves speed up inflation and deflation, and the included compression straps, stuff sack, and repair kit make packing it up a breeze.
