The Spike's Tactical Midlength Complete Upper is a high-performance 5.56x45mm NATO assembly for the AR-15 platform. It features a 16 chrome moly vanadium barrel with a black phosphate finish and a 1:7 twist rate. Built on a forged 7075-T6 aluminum receiver with a black anodized finish, this AR Style unit includes a 12 M-LOK handguard and a standard 1/2-28 threaded A2 flash hider. This ready-to-function assembly comes fully equipped with a corrosion-resistant phosphate-coated bolt carrier group and a mid-length gas system for smoother cycling and reduced felt recoil. Note: The mid-length gas system on a 16-inch barrel provides a more reliable pressure curve and reduced wear on internal components compared to standard carbine-length systems.
