The Hawkeye series features a non-rotating, Mauser-type feed extractor that provides the most consistent extraction of all designs ever invented, ensuring consistent reliability in a variety of environments. Paired with this is an internal magazine with a hinged floorplate to allow for easy unloading. The Hawkeye rifles also feature Ruger's LC6 series triggers along with cold hammer forged barrels for superb shooting performance right out of the box. The Hunter series features a traditional style stock along with a threaded barrel. This model is chambered in .358 Winchester and features an American Walnut stock and a satin stainless receiver and barrel finish. The internal magazine has a 4-shot capacity.
