The Kimber 84M Open Country is a purpose-built long-range hunting rifle chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor, a cartridge respected for its flat trajectory, mild recoil, and lethality on medium-sized game at extended distances. It features a 24" heavy barrel that has been fluted to reduce weight, with the muzzle threaded 5/8"-24 to accept a suppressor or muzzle brake. The rifle's stock is made from reinforced carbon fiber, keeping the gun both durable and lightweight, and this Scopelist Exclusive version comes in the distinctive Granite finish. Built on Kimber's proven M84 action with a Mauser two-lug extractor and match grade chamber, it also includes an adjustable trigger set from 3-3.5 lbs and pillar bedding for enhanced accuracy. Additional refinements like a Kimber Custom 1" recoil pad to soften felt recoil and a stainless steel barrel for corrosion resistance complete a rifle Kimber backs with a sub-MOA accuracy guarantee at 100 yards.
