The Magpul CTR (Compact/Type Restricted) Carbine Stock is a heavy-duty, drop-in replacement buttstock designed for AR-15, M16, and M4 carbines utilizing Mil-Spec sized receiver extensions. Molded from durable Flat Dark Earth polymer, this stock features a streamlined, A-frame profile that guards against accidental release and minimizes snag hazards during dynamic movement. The defining feature is its proprietary friction lock system, which clamps tightly to the buffer tube to eliminate traditional stock wobble and rattle for maximum stability and weapon control. It includes a sloping cheek weld to promote a comfortable, consistent eye alignment, alongside a shielded release latch for fast length-of-pull adjustments. Ready for immediate deployment, it comes equipped with an integrated rotation-limited QD sling mount, standard sling loops, and a replaceable 0.30-inch rubber butt-pad to prevent slippage on tactical gear and mitigate felt recoil.
