"What Our Gearhead® Experts Are Saying: ""These are my go-to wool bottoms because they hit the sweet spot between warmth and breathability. The merino is soft enough to wear all day, never feels clammy when I’m working hard, and stays fresh even on multi-day trips. They’re simple, reliable, and perfect for layering in any season."" We depend on the Norrona Femund PureUll Longs Bottom for natural comfort in every season. Made with 100% premium merino wool, these bottoms harness the fiber’s ability to regulate body temperature, wick moisture, and resist odors. Whether we’re hiking on cool mornings, ski touring in midwinter, or just wearing them casually, the breathable construction keeps us warm without overheating. The thoughtful design makes them as functional as they are comfortable. Flatlock seams reduce chafing during high-output days, while the gusseted crotch adds mobility for long strides and climbs. The elastic waistband ensures a secure fit, and the clean styling transitions easily from the mountains to everyday life."
