The Polytech 14S is a civilian clone of the M14 featuring forged receiver and operating rod. They were well-regarded as shooters. They were produced in China and imported to the USA in the 80s. Many of the machines used were military surplus. This one shows very well with no specific blemishes, just a bit of general wear. The hardwood stock appears to be stained beech.
