B&T Assault 3 Prong Open Tine Hybrid Features The B&T Assault 3 Prong Open Tine Hybrid is precision machined from heat-treated stainless steel with a DLC coating for exceptional wear resistance corrosion protection and a hard low-friction surface that holds up through sustained fire and repeated suppressor attachment cycles. The open tine hybrid design combines three-prong flash suppression geometry with a hybrid configuration that delivers high-performance flash mitigation on 5.56 NATO and .223 Rem platforms with a 1/2x28 threaded barrel. At 2.65 and 3.30 oz. the Assault 3 Prong adds minimal length and weight to the muzzle end while providing meaningful flash signature reduction. The DLC finish provides a hard low-friction surface that resists fouling buildup and maintains its appearance through extended use without the chipping or wear common with softer finishes. The 1/2x28 thread pattern provides direct compatibility with the most common 5.56 NATO threaded barrel standard for a straightforward no-adapter installation. B&T s Swiss precision engineering and manufacturing standards are reflected in the Assault 3 Prong s precision machined construction and material selection.
