The added base length gives your little finger somewhere to live, and most shooters shoot a compact 9mm noticeably better with all four fingers on the gun. Capacity stays at 10rds.It makes a practical pairing: carry the pistol with a flush magazine in the gun and this one as the spare, so the reload comes with a better grip when it matters. Steel construction and HK spring quality mean it will still be feeding correctly long after lesser magazines have gone soft.
