"Women's Topo Athletic® Connect: If you've been searching for a truly minimal shoe that keeps you close to the ground, the Topo Athletic® Connect is worth a serious look. This all-terrain shoe is built for minimal shoe enthusiasts who want to run, walk, and move through daily life with as little between their foot and the ground as possible. With a zero-drop platform and a total stack height of just 10.5 mm, the Connect gives you a natural, flexible ride that lets your foot move the way it wants to.The Connect earns its reputation as Topo Athletic's most minimal shoe through a straightforward construction: no midsole, just a Vibram XS Trek outsole that handles varied terrain with confidence. The removable insole gives you options - keep it in for a 10.5 mm stack, or pull it out to bring the stack down to 5.5 mm for maximum ground feel. Without the insole, the shoe is composed solely of rubber and strobel board, which means nothing gets in the way of that direct, connected feel underfoot. The 0 mm drop keeps your heel and forefoot at the same height, encouraging a more natural foot strike whether you're running or just going about your day.Why Our Fit Experts Love This Shoe""I love recommending the Connect to customers who are serious about minimal footwear. The removable insole is a nice touch - you can dial in exactly how much ground feel you want. It's one of those shoes that feels almost like nothing is there, which is exactly what that customer is looking for."" - Rachel, Road Runner Sports Fit Expert, Carlsbad, CAWho It's Best ForIf you prefer a barefoot-style feel and want a zero-drop, minimal shoe you can wear for running, walking, and everyday use, the Connect is a strong fit.
