The Kimber Classic Silva (84M) 6.5 Creedmoor is chambered in one of the most popular and capable modern hunting and precision shooting cartridges available today, built on Kimber's purpose-designed 84M action that keeps the overall package remarkably lightweight and well-balanced compared to full-size long-action alternatives. The 22" match-grade barrel with a 1:8" right-hand twist is optimized to stabilize heavier 6.5mm projectiles in the 140–147 grain range that have made the Creedmoor famous for its exceptional long-range ballistic performance and low recoil. Like all Classic Silva models, a full-length Mauser claw extractor, three-position Model 70-style wing safety, pillar bedding, and a factory-adjustable trigger set between 3.5 and 4 pounds deliver the precision and field reliability serious hunters demand. The hand-rubbed oil-finished Turkish walnut stock with 20 LPI panel checkering, 1" Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad, steel grip cap, sling swivel studs, and 7/16x28 threaded muzzle round out a classically elegant package that represents the best of Kimber's traditional craftsmanship in a modern, highly capable chambering.
