Honor a true classic with the Bear Archery Take Down A Riser in Black Maple Black Stripe, a traditional recurve bow inspired by Fred Bear's original design that helped shape modern archery. Built for archers who appreciate timeless style and dependable feel, this takedown bow pairs vintage character with practical performance on the range or in the field. The signature 1969 heal horn style grip gives your bow hand a deep, secure hold that feels natural shot after shot, while the 1/8 inch arrow shelf places the arrow closer to the hand for a smooth, consistent flight path. Choose the A riser for a compact setup or pair it with the right limbs to reach your preferred bow length. This model is made for both right and left hand shooters, making it a versatile choice for traditional archers seeking a refined shooting experience. Finished in rich black maple with a bold black stripe, this bow delivers the classic look, balanced feel, and proven heritage archers trust in a takedown design.
