Q. LLC's SCAR-Cut Two-Piece Bolt Carrier Group was designed to meet and exceed the military specifications that lesser BCGs fail to meet. Built with the extremely high standards and level of performance that all Q, LLC products are know for, the SCAR-Cut Two-Piece Bolt Carrier Group consists of two sections: the front end and rear end. The front end is made up of Maraging Stainless Steel dressed in black with a Nitride Coating, and features a SCAR-Cut to reduce bolt bounce. The front end also comes standard with a Mil-spec gas key and staking, a Mil-spec bolt, a Mil-spec cam pin, and a Mil-spec firing pin. The rear end is made from bare stainless steel that’s been heat treated to ensure a long service life and offers a Mil-spec overall length. The rear end hold the firing pin, thus eliminating the need for firing pin retaining pins as well as the chance of broken pins. Additionally, the carrier is held in place by a single pin to ensure easy field stripping.
