A subtle twist on the illustrious Tarpon Toad, the Tarpon Toad II leans into a puffy, marabou tail instead of the classic zonker tail. Functionally, the Tarpon Toad II fishes very much like the original-it tracks straight, suspends in the water column, and stays in the strike zone for longer than heavier patterns. The marabou has a bit more pulsing movement compared to the undulating rabbit strip of the original. Either way, you can&';t go wrong -- we fish this pattern with confidence everywhere tarpon swim.
