Product DescriptionThe Sierra MatchKing .22 caliber 90 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail bullet was created to meet the increasing demands of long-range shooters looking to maximize the ballistic potential of AR-15/M16-platform rifles. Developed through extensive testing for accuracy and exterior ballistics, this projectile was designed specifically for the .223 Remington / 5.56x45mm cartridge and performs equally well in Match and Service Rifles. While MatchKing bullets are sometimes used for varmint hunting, their design is not intended to provide the same reliable explosive expansion as Sierra's lightly jacketed varmint bullet lines.Product Highlights Match-grade MatchKing design engineered for extreme accuracy and consistent long-range performance .22 caliber / .224" diameter, 90 grain Hollow Point Boat Tail profile for strong exterior ballistics Designed specifically for .223 Remington / 5.56x45mm applications in Match and Service Rifles 500-count box is ideal for competitive shooters and high-volume precision reloaders Jacketed lead construction with tight manufacturing tolerances for repeatable resultsSpecs Brand: Sierra Product Line/Model: MatchKing Manufacturer Part Number: 9290 UPC: 092763092903 Caliber: .22 Caliber Bullet Diameter: .224" Bullet Weight: 90 gr Bullet Type/Style: Hollow Point Boat Tail (HPBT) Material: Jacketed Lead Quantity: 500 bullets per box Intended Cartridge: .223 Remington / 5.56x45mm Notes: Intended for single loading; not intended to be fed from a magazine (per distributor listing) Notes: Requires at least a 1x6.5" twist barrel (per distributor listing)Disclaimer: We strive to provide accurate and up-to-date product descriptions, specifications, and images; however, errors or omissions may occasionally occur.
