The TYR Women's Hurricane C3 Wetsuit is the result of TYR's engineers wanting to expand many of the benefits of the world-class C5 suit to a wider variety of athletes. Designed in conjunction with world-renowned triathlete Andy Potts, it'll propel you to your fastest swim split yet. The C3 was constructed with the lightest Yamamoto SCS 5mm neoprene panels throughout the chest, leg, and core. This Speed Wrap Paneling system raises your body in the water to reduce drag. Additionally, a 360-degree Core Stabilization System targets the core muscle groups. Not only does this aid in elevating the swimmer, it also preserves core strength over long swim courses. TYR's R. O. M. Zones, located around the shoulders and upper back, allow for a full range of motion in the reach phase of the stroke. These work in perfect harmony with the Graded Catch Force Panels strategically aligned on the forearms to increase the effectiveness of the pull phase of the stroke. These panels are actually riveted and layered upon a thinner neoprene to keep the skin insulated. The wrists have been constructed from multi-stretch neoprene for a customized fit to keep water out of the suit. Having a fast swim is for naught is you're stuck in your wetsuit in T1. For this reason, the C3 features Quick Release ankle cuffs. These unique tapered legs allow the ankle of the suit to quickly reverse and open so that removal is effortless. Supplementing this is an extra-long zipper pull that's easy to reach. If you still think you'll miss it, here's a trick: double it up under the hook-and-loop closure so that there's a loop near your neck and you'll catch it on the first grab.
